Porsche Cayman S special edition turns black

The Porsche Cayman derived from the Boxster is regarded as the "baby 911" and was launched in 2006 as a mid-engined coupe. Performance from the Porsche 3.4 liter flat-6 engine receives a minor perk-up over the Cayman S edition. Adding 10 horsepower, the Porsche Cayman S Black Edition is propelled through the results of mechanically created 330 horses. To obtain the most desirable acceleration, the Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is an option. Providing acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 4.6 seconds when the Cayman S Black Edition is equipped with the Sport Chrono Package, the PDK allows the Porsche to achieve above 20 miles per gallon in average fuel economy. Existing in only 500 Porsche Cayman S models, the Black Edition will retail for $67,500 in the United States. Each model comes numbered with a special Cayman S Black Edition plaque on the dash.
