Super sexy: KICHERER SLS Supersport GT
To deepen the exclusivity of the most exotic cars, KICHERER Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH & Co uses 35 years of expertise to bring brand new supercar characteristics to the market. As shown on Automoblog.net at the beginning of March this year, the KICHERER SLS 63 Supersport takes the German-made supercar to the limits of new exoticism.
Wearing a simple but alluringly mysterious matt black paint, the KICHERER SLS 63 Supersport GT outer appearance is accompanied by genuine carbon fiber. On the mudguards, front spoiler lip and the cowling, this lightweight performance trim is most prevalent in detailing the exterior. Decked out with carbon fiber on the outside, driver and passenger will also find interior trim given a racy feel thanks to the exotic material. On the SLS 63 Supersport GT, KICHERER has unseated the giant Mercedes-Benz star badge from the front grille. The front end appearance of the supercar is redefined through hand-built vertical grille posts KICHERER has combined to call a “shark mouth”. Looking fierce, the KICHERER SLS 63 Supersport GT self esteem is at an all-time high. Adjustable KICHERER lift-up suspension kit also provides the driver with an ability to control the SLS 63 Supersport GT’s height by up to 30 millimeters (1.18 inches) of movement. 20-inch front and 21-inch rear three-piece, RS-1 forged wheels adorn the corners of the KICHERER creation.
Apart from the advancements made on the outer styling, the SLS AMG supercar is treated to some minor powerplant improvements to awaken the 6.2 liter V-8 engine. Said to be based on engine management optimization, KICHERER has found 621 horsepower from the AMG built powerplant. A 58 horsepower step up from the production Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and 19 units more than KICHERER’s SLS Supersport unveiled earlier, the GT model prances stronger than a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano or a Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Thrusting with 516.3 pounds-feet of torque, the KICHERER SLS Supersport GT can accomplish a time acceleration run from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds. With the gentle horsepower push, the KICHERER SLS 63 Supersport GT comes just shy of braking the 200 mile per hour plateau. According to KICHERER’s, the SLS 63 Supersport GT achieves an electronically limited 320 kilometers per hour (almost 199 miles per hour).
Through images presented by KICHERER (which I’m certain some Automoblog.net readers have already had their attention diverted through reviewing this article), the SLS Supersport GT is being modeled at the peak of attraction. With the German tuner’s upgrades guaranteed to run the price well north of the SLS AMG’s already steep $183,000 retail sticker, these rather entrancing pictures may be a tease which only our minds can play out for full personal pleasure.
