Four virtual priority test drives in the new video game
For more than a month, video game players have been familiar with the new Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft's Xbox One. Some of the most advanced video entertainment consoles ever, the new era of gaming provides a new enjoyment for car enthusiasts. While simulating the driving experience on a high-resolution TV, it is possible to obtain more immersive touches and graphics. The racing game is no longer a sensation in Atari's pole position.
Two new auto racing games making its way to the new generation consoles in time for the holidays is Need for Speed: Rivals and Forza Motorsport 5 (the latter is exclusive to the Xbox One). At the same time as the consoles of gaming future have been released, the Gran Turismo 6 game is giving owners of the Sony PlayStation 3 an experience featuring a dizzying amount of available vehicles.

Video Game: Gran Turismo 6
Somewhat muted by the lingering hysteria of the 2015 Ford Mustang’s unveiling, the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe broke cover. Formerly the M3, the two-door M4 Coupe adapts to an all-new identity with BMW’s M line of performance cars. Formed with the greater use of carbon fiber and aluminum, the BMW M4 Coupe opens up with TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine. Generating 431 horsepower and 406 pounds feet of torque, BMW’s boast of 0 to 62-mile per hour launches in 4.1 seconds with the new M4 Coupe has Bimmer Boosters growing very antsy to test the vehicle’s limits.
On Gran Turismo 6, the undisguised version of the BMW M4 Coupe was announced available on December 12th. Offered for only a limited two-week time period ending on Boxing Day, gamers will experience the virtual BMW M4 Coupe in all of its 1,497 kilograms of glory.
LaFerrari
Video Game: Forza Motorsport 5
A big, powerful Ferrari with perhaps the weirdest name in supercar history, the LaFerrari was a highlight when introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Combining a V-12 gasoline engine with a performance-tailored HY-KERS electric power system, the LaFerrari’s performance output is rated at over 950 horsepower. The LaFerrari’s adoption of several active aerodynamic components and its overall racy appearance is enough to lure any hot-blooded driver to its Formula 1-inspired steering wheel.
While chances are thin that our desire to drive 1 of the 499 production LaFerraris will be fulfilled in real life, the virtual world ma
kes this dream come true for a small fee. Introduced on Forza Motorsport 5 as a $9.99 addition, the LaFerrari is the crowning member of a ten vehicle downloadable package. Along with testing the limits of the LaFerrari, buyers of the Forza Motorsport 5 add-on pack are given vehicles such as the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe, 2002 Lotus Esprit, 1989 Toyota MR2 SC and 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500.Acura NSX
Video Game: Gran Turismo 6
Though we have grown quite familiar with the appearance of the resurrection of the Japanese branded supercar, the Acura NSX has been largely viewed standing still for over two years. This summer, rare moment saw the Acura NSX’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD flex its muscle in public lapping around the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (close to the future production home for the eagerly awaited vehicle). Clearly, it is high time to see the NSX supercar in more an active role.
More than a year until the new supercar will be ready for sale, the newly released Gran Turismo 6 PS3 game allows video gamers to realize the Acura NSX’s true brilliance. Finally, we can feel what its like to control the performance machine hearing the engine roar and the tires squeal.
2015 Ford Mustang
Video Game: Need for Speed Rivals
When the original pony car debuted in the 1960s, it was Ford’s attempt to lure impressionable youth. The Ford Mustang succeeded in creating a nearly 50-year long legacy where the vehicle excelled at being a hip performance vibe. As the 2015 Ford Mustang was first presented earlier this month, there is a new driving reality where some virtual roads become the path travelled by many younger people in the 21st century to explore the latest real-life street machines.
Waiting a very short time after the vehicle’s introduction, Ford Motor Company has provided a digitized version of the new generation pony car to the latest EA’s Need for Speed Rivals game. The news gets better for Ford fans as the 2015 Mustang can be driven free as an in-game download. Five custom designs will be available for gamers wanting to have an accented 2015 Ford Mustang. Ford’s partnership with Need for Speed will not end with the newly released 2015 Mustang being added to the driving simulator. The Ford Mustang will be prominently featured in the upcoming Need for Speed movie.
