Edo Ferrari California Spider gets 500 horsepower
The brand-new Ferrari California has almost no chance to take a breather on the Ferrari dealer’s plot, and the German tuner Edo Competition has already taken down one and “edo treatment” on it.
The new California is Ferrari’s new entry-level car, if there is such a thing. The California’s front-mounted 4.3-liter V8 produces 460 horsepower – almost as much as its older brother, the F430.
Edo Competition chose this car and added a special 20- or 21-inch wheel design, as well as lowering and sports-tuned suspension, which were customized and adjusted according to each customer's specifications. Edo can also readjust California's ECU to produce 500hp of power, and together with a high-flow exhaust system (with adjustable butterfly valve), it is enough to push Edo Ferrari California from 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds, and Reached a top speed of 196 miles per hour.
